Nigerian passport holders can now travel to more African countries without obtaining a visa in advance, with Rwanda included in the updated list of countries offering visa-free access.
The development is expected to boost tourism, business travel, and regional integration, making it easier for Nigerians to move across the continent for work and leisure.
Rwanda’s inclusion adds to a growing number of African nations that have eased travel restrictions for Nigerian citizens as part of broader efforts to promote intra-African mobility.
Most of the countries on the list are members of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), whose protocol allows citizens of member states to travel freely within the region.
